Who are we?

Wisely (wearewisely.com) is a Belgian (digital) marketing & smart city agency. We are the pioneer in digital and offline communication services and smart digital solutions for retail centers and cities in Belgium. As a spin-off from Joyn (the leading loyalty system for retailers in Belgium), we provide a wide range of technical solutions for our clients, such as gift card, local currency and intranet platforms. We are in full development of brand new, exciting technological concepts for cities and communes. We are amongst others active for +/- 40 Belgian cities and 15 retail parks

What is our DNA?

Our team consists of passionate and driven professionals who are ready to deal with challenges of any kind. Being a relatively young company, we have a young and dynamic atmosphere with a very hands-on mentality. However we bear on expertise since 2009. Our key team sits in Kortrijk, but we are now expanding into Spain (Barcelona and/or Malaga). In Barcelona we have strong ties and can share offices with our friends from Bakeronline.com (the highly successful team behind the leading e-commerce solution for bakers and other artisans). In Malaga, we are as we speak looking to touchdown and to decide on the location for our office. You can be part of our team with a first row seat for this adventure, as we launch our new concepts for cities and expand the existing for many retail centers!

junior account manager with marketing coordination skills

About you

You speak and write fluent Dutch. You are strong in French (native level is a plus!). Although we rather hire based upon fit with our mentality and team than upon experience and diplomas, in addition, the following skills and experience give you a head start in the race for the job:

  • You are very structured and detailed in your work. You don’t like chaos and every comma or cent counts.

  • You hold a bachelor diploma in project management, communication, digital marketing and/or events.

  • You are highly organized and excellent with follow up and follow through

  • You are curious, proactive and self-motivated

  • You know you don’t know (everything) and are open to learn every detail from the best (colleagues).

  • You are a roll up your sleeves type of worker

  • You are able to multitask and navigate in a fast-paced and start-up environment

Your responsibilities

You will evolve in the function of a Junior Account Manager with coordination skills:

  • You will be the point of contact for several target accounts, checking in with them on their active projects and probing for open issues and opportunities that need to be addressed. You will thus take full ownership of the success within those accounts.

  • You will create a tailored marketing and budget plan for each target account.

  • You will implement the multi-channel marketing campaigns (web, print, radio and online marketing), in close collaboration with the campaign manager(s).

  • You will organize milestones and tasks in the project management system.

  • You will coordinate and track the budget for each marketing campaign.

  • You will initiate the project billing and follow-up as needed to collect payments.

  • You are in charge of some projects that are one-off deliverables.

  • You will help the CEO and/or the sales manager to attract new clients by preparing tailor made offers and solutions for prospects.

  • You are willing to travel and to stay abroad for short periods of time.

Digital Content Marketeer - (French Speaking)

About you

You speak and write fluent French (native level). In addition, you have the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of social media / online community management experience and extensive knowledge of major social media networks, including advertising and video

  • You have superior writing skills including emails, blogs, social media, and website content

  • You move to the rhythm of tweets, likes, clicks and shares and you know what it takes to go viral.

  • You have knowledge of current social media trends

  • You are creative when it comes to copy and you know how a nice visual should look like.

  • You know the drill how to compose crystal-clear copy, write a fun quote or come up with that one-liner that says it all?

  • You like taking your own photos and making your own videos and you know Photoshop and video editing software like a pro.

  • You are a roll up your sleeves type of worker

  • You are able to multitask and navigate in a fast-paced and start-up environment

  • You are self-motivated and self-managed: you are able to think and work independently, move ahead, while still keeping everyone in the loop

  • Plus: you have agency experience

  • Plus: you speak English, Spanish and/or Dutch

Your responsibilities

As Digital Content Marketeer:

  • You will create informational and engaging content for website, email, newsletters and social media

  • You will forge trusted relationships with outside content generators

  • You will manage content calendars and release schedules

  • You will collaborate with the marketing coordinators on special event coverage

  • You will develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies and campaigns

  • You will participate and moderate online conversations pertaining to the cities or malls from our clients

  • You will lead social media involvement in relevant emerging trends, applications, and tools

  • We have some challenges ahead to cover several publics on the channels of our clients, in several languages and in different countries. You will help us to set the strategy on how to tackle those challenges.

  • You are willing to travel and to stay abroad (Belgium in the first place) on an occasional basis (in order to join the headquarter team for some days or to meet clients).

  • You will report to the CEO.

What will you do?

  • You will define the sales strategy from the bottom up

  • You will find the relevant contacts in Belgium (in the first place and abroad in a second phase) and reach out via email, LinkedIn, phone, …

  • You will build up connections and educate your target audience on our products such as the communication platform Chainels

  • You will qualify prospects & set up meetings for sales

  • You will prepare presentation materials as needed

  • You will be the owner of the full sales cycle from beginning to end, in close collaboration with our CEO

  • You will work towards a monthly sales target
